Katie, Oliver, Hux and Mom at the MOBOT March 21

Hux's last official outing with friends before his baby sister was born was with friend Oliver and Oliver's mom Katie at the Botanical Gardens.  Hux really wanted to feed the fish so off we went.

My last pregnant belly shot!

Hux and Oliver played "Big Bad Wolf" and Surprise! in the Japanese house for quite a while.

Hux and Mom!

Ollie and mom Katie!  We love your hair Katie! (Hux asked if it was "painted" which is true -just a different kind of paint (dye :).

Rosalind the Adored...

Our truly fabulous neighbors Dottie and Mary (and Kevin) sent us the most beautiful bouquet for Rosalind-thanks again-it makes my day every time I see it!

Another hairbow I learned to make a WUMCHA craft night-thanks ladies!  I was on a mission!

Hux does adore his sister and is constantly wanting to "see Rosalind" :)

Rosalind's First Outing-the Botanical Gardens Easter Egg Hunt!

One week after Rosalind was born, we headed to the Missouri Botanical Gardens (MOBOT) for the EGGstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt-hunts running every 1/2 hour in two categories 2-5 and 6-12 year olds.  Here Hux is practicing his running skills in preparation for the hunt.

At the starting line, Hux is excited!

Although he could have picked up to 10 eggs (scattered on the ground-not actually hidden), he chose to pick up only 3.  Perhaps this was due to the insane amount of parents who went with their children despite the instructions to try and let kids go by themselves--I and two other parents stayed behind-everyone else charged ahead with children so Hux was a bit intimidated...  At any rate-I was proud of his cheerful willingness to only take three.  My mom reminds me this is like my own first trick-or-treating when I went to three houses and then said "I'm done!" -much to the disappointment of my father and his anticipation of a good haul!

Huxley and Rosalind with the Easter Bunny!

Welcome Rosalind!
