The Museum of Transportation is great -free for kids 4 and under, but with my Groupon I got discounted train ride tickets and have an extra adult pass to use later-hurrah! Check out our first sight of trains...
....cool old trains they are restoring...
...inside the Creation Station (no, nothing about the scary belief in creationism, just good ol' fashioned creating stuff--the artwork on the walls was unbelievable!!
Hux got lots of time with Thomas the Train parts...
...and then got dressed up like a pirate!
...and finally colored a lamb made out of paper plates and paper bags- good times!
Later, we walked inside train cars-including this one that transported dangerous chemical liquids (no, Hux isn't glowing...).
How awesome is this title? Alas...it was closed so I'll never be able to complete my thoughts...
...isn't this steam engine amazing?
...a school bus transformed into a school-train!
Hux in the oil-burning engine room.
Not sure exactly what this is, but very Star Wars!
Finally-a boat-it was high off the ground!
...and a bomber we looked at from the boat (yup, we were high up!).
A great day at the Museum of Transportation-soo much to do!
