Fun in St. Louis with Lincoln (and Toby and Kevin)

Hux's best friend Lincoln came to visit Thursday and Friday Sept 22nd and 23rd with his mom Toby and dad Kevin.  Everyone had a great time!  We, alas, had to leave early on Saturday for Florida and so had to say goodbye around 6am -not the best time for little boys to say goodbye. :)

Look little twins-we didn't mean to, but Hux and Lincoln ended up wearing almost identical shirts on Thursday!

Optical illusions at the Alice in Wonderland exhibit at the Magic House!
Tea time!

Hux gets out of the rabbit hole.

These beautiful, GIANT musical instruments sound awesome and look awesome!

"Lincoln always knew that someday Hux would be the one pumping his gas...
...or changing his tires."

Hux finally found a good sword dueling partner...

...and a Kevin to attack!

We went to Grant's Farm on Friday (named because it belonged to USS Grant until the Busch family bought it in the early 1900's).  We got to see the famous Busch Clydesdale-I love this comparison!

Grant's farm was lots of fun with a carousel,

at least 100 pigmy goats,

lots of unusual chickens,
a wallabee,
and even a camel!
(Then Kevin got a free beer and Toby and I got non-alcoholic beer -two drinks free per day!).
Then we went to Steak and Shake for lunch and finally-the arch!
We walked in at 3:40, got the tickets for the 3:40 tram, rode the small little tram up to the top (here Hux looks a little apprehensive),
then peered out the windows!

When we got back at 4:30, the earliest tram was 5pm, and then ten minutes later, the trams were sold out (last one at 5:15), so we timed it just right!

A great time for all -thanks again for visiting, Lincoln and for bringing your van so Hux could watch movies while driving around the city, rather than having to entertain himself in our cars :)
