So this past Wed (March 14th), Hux and I hit the Kirkwood Library Story & Craft Time with the WUMCHA moms...
Hux and Will had a great time beforehand playing with puppets.
Hux really got into being a puppet himself!
Once storytime started, Hux was very attentive, however. Here he is, with friend Oliver, paying rapt attention to the detailed story of St. Patrick.
After the story, the kids got up to find hidden golden coins. Hux and I thought we had found one...
....but it turned out to be an easter egg?? Not sure why it was hiding behind the book, but we were both a little sad not to find a coin ourselves (Oliver later found one to gave to Hux-thanks!).
After two more stories it was craft time! The finished creation is a pot of 'gold' with a shamrock in the middle and a rainbow up above.
Hux is over the craft already Mommy...just let him play with his friends already!
We headed to Dewey's pizza two doors down for lunch-here are the silly boys
Hux, Will, Oliver and Hakon at the end-not so happy to have his picture taken...
