Huxley turned 4 on April 13 - he requested Superhero cupcakes so I went to Wally-World and ordered 6-we made them "superhero" by finding 6 different superhero rings out of huge tubs of plastic decorations for cupcakes...
...at the same time, I had purchased mini chocolate chip cookies for Hux's class. Well alas, when Daddy and Hux dropped them off, they were processed on equipment with tree nuts so they were for-bodin. So off I went to Wally World to pick up Hux's birthday cupcakes for our at-home celebration, and also managed to purchase 36 mini cupcakes (no reason to anger Hux's teachers by bringing in too much sugar-there was already another boy with Hux's birthday that day)-I also just purchased outright 36 superhero rings. I dropped them off in time for afternoon snack and the day was saved.
Here is a rough shot of the cupcakes with rings-you can see a Superman triangle at the top left, a Green Hornet top right, Captain America in the middle and Bumbebee Transformer ring at the bottom (so not quite a superhero but close enough).
